Map of Lazarus

The map is divided into sectors.  In addition to the monthly campaign encounters, additional "Road Encounters" are triggered by crossing a sector boundary.  It costs 1/4 unit of fuel to cross a boundary.

Sector 1: Downtown
Type: Urban
Description:  Densely populated, this area is the heart of the city.

Sector 2:  Westside
Type: Urban
Description:  Home to many gangs and tough neighborhoods. You can gain access to the hydro electric dam on the west side of Lake Lazarus.

Sector 3:  Mid-Town
Type: Urban
Description:  More upscale than the other urban areas of Lazarus.  Home to many urban professionals and start up companies.

Sector 4:  Northside
Type: Urban
Description:  The northern edge of the down town core, it is the gateway to the northern suburbs.

Sector 5:  Loch Lazarus
Type: Suburban
Description:  Separated from Westside by Lake Lazarus, it's home to Mcmansions, Lexuses, and new money.

Sector 6:  Fairfax
Type: Urban
Description:  Located on the SW corner of the city, this is the industrial part of the city.  Low rent housing is spread through out the area.

Sector 7:  Southside
Type: Suburban
Description:  Nice working class neighborhoods dot the area, along with shopping and entertainment.

Sector 8:  Eastside
Type: Suburban
Description: Like Southside, this area is home to many commuters and small businesses.  Eastside is also where the Lazarus Zoo is located.

Sector 9:  Independence
Type: Urban
Description:  Connected to Lazarus via the suburbs, Independence is a densely populated part of the Lazarus metro area.

Sector 10:  Shady Rest
Type: Urban
Description:  Actually, Shady Rest is a small bedroom community nestled in the suburbs, with a small population.  It is home to the largest cemetery in the region, though, so the dead population is bigger than the living population of any other urban sector in Lazarus.

Sector 11:  Zona Rosa
Type: Suburban
Description:  This area was the shopping mecca of the north lands.  The rich from Lake Lazarus make their way here to spend, spend spend.

Sector 12:  North Lazarus
Type: Urban
Description: At the far north of the metro area, N. Lazarus was an up and coming city, home to commuters and small businesses.

Description:  Recently adsorbed into the metro area, Sweetville ranks as a suburb, even if it still maintains that small town feel.

Description:  Located north of Lazarus,  this used to be good farm country.  Sparsely populated, things aren't as bad as in the city.

Description: This is the main town in Platte County.  Easy driving too and from Lazarus had resulted in a population boom, prior to the undead rising.

Description: Gateway to the west, this rural area is sparsely populated; dotted with isolated farms and houses.
