Welcome To Lazarus

Instead of a "BANG", humanity is passing away with the shuffling of dead feet, and hungry moans. Desperate men and women fight against the rising tide for the newly risen dead.Sometimes, though, the undead are not he most dangerous things out there. Civilization has failed the test; the only thing left is survival.

Lazarus is just one of many places where humanity holds on by a thread, and life and death come as easily as a roll of the dice.

Las Chicas - 28mm Survivors

Las Chicas are an all female gang in the remnants of Southern California.   "Amiga, it's not that we don't like men, it's just that a good man is hard to find these days, and we can't trust them like we can nuestras hermanasEntender?"

Las Chicas

Marisol - La Jefe
Rita - La Ejecutor

 Karmen - La Mujer Fatal

 Salma - La Nina

Azteca - La Radical

Gizmo

These are Obelisk Miniatures Gangsters, sold at Black Cat Bases.  Each set comes with 5 gangsters and a mascot.   Gizmo's colorization is actually based on my wife's Teddybear Mal-Schi-Poo of the same name.

  1. Brilliant!! Simply brilliant.
One question, what technique did you used for Marisol shorts? I really like the effect you obtained.

  2. Easy technique. Mind you, I use craft paints (Ceramcoat, Apple Barrel, Plaind, etc) for everything, except flesh tones.

    1) Block in the color with "Sky Blue"
    2) Apply a thin wash of "AquaMarine/Future" (80/20)
    3) Highlight with "Sky Blue"
    4) Highlight frayed edges of the jeans with "Pure White"

  3. These are great! I recently bought this set, along with the other gangs in the range, but haven't got round to painting them. Your paint schemes are so good that I can see me coming back here for reference ideas for when I do get round to painting them. Oh, and I love the names you've given them.

  8. Nice paint job. I'm thinking of getting the Screaming Hawks as some survivors but not sure how they compare to say Copplestone or Hasslefree stuff that I already have in my collection
